Content Specification Guide
Launching a AR project with Art House?
Here is everything you need to know about preparing your content.
General Notes
Each project consists of 1 physical image (marker) and up to 5 digital content layers. While the Art House platform automatically optimizes your content, it is important to prepare your content for this optimization to ensure the best possible performance of your project for your consumers. In this article we will outline these recommendations for you. If you need assistance with preparing your content, please contact your dedicated account manager.
Additionally, as long as your subscription is active, you can replace any content on the fly, which we update immediately. This allows your digital layers to continuously remain relevant. You also have the option of replacing an entire project at any time.
Marker (Main Image)
This is the image that all of the digital content will overlay - the physical image that your audience will see in real life, delivered to them in your preferred format.
Specifications:
-
JPG, up to 1 MB in size
Augmented Layer (Video)
This includes any form of motion content - trailers, highlight reels, timelapses, motion graphics, animations, etc. Audio is supported as well. The aspect ratio should approximate the corresponding ratio as the marker selected (see Marker, above). Aspect ratio describes the ratio between the width and height of an image. A 1:1 aspect ratio, for example, is a square. While Art House automatically resizes your content to exactly overlay the main image, significant cropping may occur if the proportions are significantly different.
